Airolit, a leading drone manufacturer based in Mölndal, is looking for a curious and open-minded Development Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of autonomous aerial solutions.
About the Role
As a Development Engineer at Airolit, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative drone solutions. Our mission is to push the boundaries of drone technology, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and adaptability for various applications. You will be involved in both the development of new cutting edge solutions and the continuous improvement of existing products. Your responsibilities will include:
•Designing drone components and systems.
•Managing the PLM and ERP system integration with engineering.
•Create and review CAD drawings.
•Developing, testing, and validating prototypes in real-world environments.
•Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including software, electronic, production and procurement.
•Analysing and resolving technical challenges, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
•Continuously improving design and development processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Your background
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive or aerospace engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in design engineering and product development.
• Experience with CAD software, like Fusion 360, Inventor or Solid works and ERP and PLM systems.
• Experience with drone systems, UAV technology, or robotics is highly meriting.
• Knowledge of aerodynamics, lightweight materials, and mechanical structures is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Swedish is a plus.
